Join Our Team as a Proposal Manager and Drive Innovation in Offshore Wind!
Our Client has a requirement for a Proposal Manager, who will be required to work on a contract basis in London.
Role Purpose:
- Oversee the development and management of commercial bids for offshore wind projects.
- Ensure optimal outcomes for contract awards and profitability.
- Facilitate collaboration among diverse stakeholders including partners and clients.
Job Role Responsibilities:
- Manage and implement the Proposal Plan effectively.
- Organize and lead bid kick-off meetings.
- Define and structure bid costs in collaboration with the Estimator.
- Clarify project scope and requirements in collaboration with all involved parties.
- Analyze contract stipulations and conditions to ensure compliance.
- Supervise the development of cost estimates, ensuring alignment with technical and procurement evaluations.
- Approve cost estimates and preliminary project cash flow.
- Define project organization, schedules, execution plans, and resource allocations.
- Integrate proposal packages from various Operating Companies and Proposal Partners.
- Prepare and submit proposals to clients, ensuring quality and timeliness.
- Manage post-bid client clarifications and lead negotiations on pricing and contractual terms.
- Maintain a comprehensive risk register utilizing Risks and Opportunity Breakdown Structure (ROBS) methodology.
Experience / Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications:
- Proven experience in managing proposals for large-scale offshore installation or fabrication projects.
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Demonstrated capability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
